Ingredients:

  • 50g cricket flour
  • 200g rolled oats
  • 50g chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
  • 30g sunflower or pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional: dried fruit, dark chocolate chunks

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix oats, cricket flour, nuts, seeds, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the coconut oil and mix in honey or maple syrup.
  4. Pour the wet mix over the dry ingredients and stir until fully coated.
  5. Spread evenly on the tray and bake for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway.
  6. Let cool completely to get crunchy clusters.
  7. Mix in optional ingredients like dried fruit or chocolate after baking.
